Project Description
The Alto High-Speed Rail (HSR) project will create new routes across Ontario and Québec, with stops in Toronto, Peterborough, Ottawa, Montréal, Trois-Rivières and Québec City.
Canada has chosen an innovative procurement model with an RFP, followed by a multi-year Co-Development Phase (CDP) with one selected partner prior to investment approval from Canada and Commercial Close. The project entered the CDP with the private developer partner in spring 2025.
